Third-year students of the Nursing Department carried out a meaningful awareness activity as part of the Community Service Practices course. The event was conducted under the supervision of Merve İnan Budak and aimed to inform the public about climate change.
On Wednesday, April 22, an information stand was set up at Kartal Public Education Center. Through this stand, participants were informed about the causes and effects of climate change, as well as possible measures to address it. The students also engaged visitors using prepared educational materials designed to increase environmental awareness.
The activity emphasized the importance of environmental consciousness at both individual and societal levels, highlighting the need to adopt sustainable lifestyle habits. With active participation from the public education center attendees, the event made a valuable contribution to the development of community service awareness.
