Res. Asst. Büşra Kütük Kurt, who works in the Department of Child Health and Disease Nursing at Istanbul Medeniyet University, attended the 4th Neonatal Nursing Days Congress held at the Polat Renaissance Hotel on October 4, 2025.
In the session titled “Biological Effects of Nutrition in Newborns: From Microbiota to Brain Development,” she delivered a presentation entitled “The Relationship Between Neonatal Nutrition and Brain Development.”
In her talk, Kütük Kurt discussed the effects of nutrition during the neonatal period on brain development, emphasizing the interaction between nutrition, microbiota, and neurodevelopment. She highlighted the importance of establishing healthy nutritional habits in the early stages of life for optimal brain function in the long term.
