Assist. Prof. Merve İNAN BUDAK, a faculty member of our department, has been accepted as a Working Group member of the COST Action CA23113, titled "CliMent – Climate Change Impacts on Mental Health in Europe," which is supported by the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST Association).
CliMent, an interdisciplinary European research network, aims to investigate the impacts of climate change on mental health, psychological well-being, resilience, and public health at both global and regional scales, while simultaneously fostering and strengthening international scientific collaborations.
Our faculty member will contribute to this prestigious international network and its scientific working groups through her expertise and academic research in the impacts of climate change on mental health, mindfulness, and gender-based violence. This membership, which encompasses joint projects, knowledge exchange, and scientific activities with researchers across Europe, will also make a significant contribution to our institution's vision of internationalization.
We congratulate our faculty member on this valuable achievement, which enhances the international visibility of our department, and wish her continued success in her endeavors within the scope of this COST Action.
