The Erenköy Psychiatric Nursing Days 3, held on Wednesday, May 6, in collaboration with the Psychiatric Nursing Association and the Erenköy Hospital for Mental and Nervous Disorders
“Souls Disconnected from Their Roots: Migration, Trauma, and Psychosocial Care,” was held in collaboration with the Psychiatric Nursing Association and the Erenköy Hospital for Mental and Nervous Disorders. Dr. Merve İNAN BUDAK, an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatric Nursing, along with graduate students İrem SATIN, Cemre KAYADELEN, and Sedef KORKMAZ, participated in the symposium.
During the symposium, the traces of migration, the depth of trauma, and possible paths to healing were discussed, and from a psychiatric nursing perspective, the connection between the individual and their roots, as well as the process of resilience, were addressed.
