The IDEAL Certificate Program, conducted by the Istanbul Medeniyet University Center for the Advancement of Education (ÖGEM), is a comprehensive training program aimed at developing faculty members' competencies in course design, teaching and learning strategies, and student-centered educational practices. This important program was successfully completed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özlem Akarsu Akkaya.
During the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özlem Akarsu Akkaya received training in innovative teaching methods, active learning practices, assessment and evaluation techniques, and contemporary approaches to enhancing the learning experience. The acquired knowledge and skills were then applied to her courses and integrated into the teaching process.
Certificates were presented to the faculty members who successfully completed the program at a ceremony. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özlem Akarsu Akkaya successfully completed the IDEAL Certificate Program, and her certificate was presented to her at the ceremony.
This process has been a significant step in improving the teaching quality of our university; It also served to strengthen the understanding of continuous learning and innovative teaching within the academic community.
