As part of the Child Health Protection and Development course, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özlem Akarsu Akkaya, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hülya Yılmaz Önal, a faculty member from our Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, was invited to give a lecture titled "Nutrition in Preschool and School-Age Children." The lecture was conducted with her participation.
The lecture covered nutrition in preschool and school-age children, the importance of adequate and balanced nutrition during these periods, and the short- and long-term consequences of unhealthy eating.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hülya Yılmaz Önal, drawing on her expertise in the field, provided students with practical information, contributing to the interactive nature of the lecture. The lecture concluded with a question-and-answer session.
