Students who are unable to attend midterm exams or in-term assignments due to valid excuses can apply to our Faculty within one week following the end of the exam/study week. If the application is accepted by the Faculty Board, the make-up exam will be held on a date determined by our Faculty.
If a student cannot attend the supplementary exam and their excuse is accepted by the relevant board, they can take a make-up exam following the supplementary exam. The conditions for the make-up exam entitlement are as follows:
a) A documented excuse supported by a health report issued by a fully equipped healthcare institution, b) The death of a close family member (parent, sibling, spouse, child, etc.) on a date that prevents the student from attending the exam, with relevant documentation provided, c) Unexpected circumstances such as traffic accidents, fire, flood, earthquake, or structural damage, with official documentation from relevant authorities, d) Detention and/or arrest, with documentation from official authorities, e) Overlapping of in-term exams from different faculties or departments with the exams of the student's registered program, f) Other excuses accepted by the relevant faculty board.
Students who submit a health report for excused absence cannot attend exams or assignments on the reported days; exams or assignments taken on those days will be deemed invalid.
